The Pre-Consultation Checklist

Five short steps so you know exactly what to gather before your free consultation. No sorting, no scanning, just a few minutes of prep that makes our conversation twice as useful.

Takes about 10 minutes. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for.

Where should we send your checklist?

  • Printable, with room to write your answers
  • An inventory page so nothing gets missed
  • The questions Angie will ask, in advance

1

Take a Quick Inventory

You don't need exact numbers, a rough count is plenty.

  • Count the boxes, bins, and bags of loose prints (an estimate is fine)
  • Count albums, scrapbooks, and framed photos you'd want included
  • Note any slides, negatives, film reels, VHS tapes, or cassettes
  • Estimate how many photos live on your phone and computer
  • List the devices and drives involved: phones, laptops, SD cards, CDs, cloud accounts
2

Snap a Few Photos of the Piles

One glance tells Angie more than any description.

  • Photograph each closet, shelf, or corner where photos are stored
  • Take a close-up of anything fragile, stuck together, or water damaged
  • Photograph any old media you can't play or view anymore
  • Have those pictures ready to text or email after we talk
3

Decide What Matters Most

Your goal shapes the plan more than the size of the collection.

  • Name the outcome you want: organized boxes, digital backups, an album, or a video tribute
  • Pick the one collection you'd rescue first if you could only choose one
  • Note anyone whose photos or stories should be captured soon
  • Decide who else in the family should be part of the decision
4

Note Your Timeline and Budget

Honest answers here mean an honest estimate from us.

  • Note any deadline: a reunion, birthday, anniversary, or celebration of life
  • Decide whether you want it all at once or phased over several months
  • Think about a comfortable range to invest, we'll build the plan around it
  • Confirm where the photos are located and whether pickup is needed
5

Write Down Your Questions

Bring them all. There are no silly questions here.

  • Anything you're worried about: safety, privacy, cost, or timing
  • Questions about how your originals are handled and returned
  • Questions about backups and how you'll access your photos afterward
  • Anything a previous company or family member told you that you'd like verified
